It's A Mystery To Me

Reading mystery stories 
is something I enjoy.
Eagerly turning pages,
tracking every clue.

           I begin to figure out

                 the specifics of the plot
                 the who, the why, the how.

                      Just when I have the answer
                             I'm sure I have it right
                         
                            

Suddenly from out of nowhere
Comes a twist, a turn and . . .
         whaaat?

 It's not what I imagined
 How could I be so wrong?
 I was so sure you see . . .

                                                         

Now it really is a mystery

a Mystery Buff like me!
